MOLIÈRE
A PROJECT BY MOATTI-RIVIÈRE + B2AI ARCHITECTS

"
A WORD FROM THE ARCHITECT
This transformation is an "enhanced experience" of what already exists. The hall is a symbolic element of the site that we wish to reinterpret.

The project by the MOATTI-RIVIERE agency is an extension of the industrial heritage that is part of the history of Ixelles. It features a contemporary building that retains the volume of the hall's roof and re-uses the space to create pleasant spaces in the hall for future residents. The historic character of the building is preserved, while the original features are accentuated to make it unique.

THE MOLIÈRE PROJECT
The Molière project, on the site formerly known as Delhaize Molière, is located in the commune of Ixelles, between Chaussée de Waterloo and rue Léon Jouret. The aim of real estate developer BESIX RED and the architects Moatti-Rivière and B2Ai architects is to transform this site, which is currently unoccupied, into a mixed-use project that is integrated into the neighbourhood and its dynamic. The initiator BESIX RED is presenting a revised version of the project, taking into account the comments and suggestions made on the previous version.
THE PROJECT
Molière is a mixed-use project
integrated in the neighbourhood.
It will offer residential, commercial,
and public facilities.
